Make It Epic Hobbies Company
Disrupting a traditional hobby with technology, precision, and unapologetic style.
In a world of miniatures defined by tradition, Make It Epic Hobbies Company is carving a new path. Founded by three entrepreneurs spanning North America, the brand sets itself apart through technology, artistry, and a determination to rethink the miniature hobby experience. The rebrand was an opportunity to reflect this innovative spirit, creating a visual identity as bold and disruptive as the products it represents.

The identity is inspired by geodes, with their geometric, layered structure informing a design language of grids, colour, and form that feels both natural and engineered. The logo—a geometric star or snowflake—nods to the founders’ Canadian and American roots, while the brutalist-influenced system gives the brand a modern, recognisable presence.
At the heart of Make It Epic is Epic Basing, a subbrand that brings the company’s vision to life through its line of intricate 3D-printed miniature basings. The visual language of Epic Basing is a direct extension of Make It Epic’s bold, geometric identity, but with a sharper focus on the craft itself. Each package is designed to disrupt the traditional hobby aisle, using a graphic, high-contrast approach that demands attention. Etched illustrations of the miniatures are woven into the design, not just as decoration, but as a way to communicate the precision and imagination embedded in every product. The packaging feels as innovative as the basings inside—unapologetically modern, yet deeply rooted in the community it serves.
The result is a brand that feels authentic to its culture and community while pushing the miniature hobby forward. Future-minded, technically driven, and unapologetically distinct, Make It Epic is redefining what it means to be a hobbyist in the digital age.
