My Propane Buddy was built on one simple truth: time is the world’s most precious non-renewable resource. For consumers, running out of propane at the wrong moment was a frustration no one had solved until Sleegers Engineering, a family-owned Ontario company, saw the opportunity to do better.
They created an automated propane distribution system with a digital layer, allowing customers to check stock at their local unit in real time. This was a leap forward in convenience and a clear sign of a generational shift in how the family approaches innovation.
The brand identity draws from blue-collar heritage and classic (North) Americana. Script lettering nods to service station signage, while typography, colour, and imagery create a nostalgic yet contemporary tone. The system flexes across audiences, balancing quality, reliability, and personality.
