For anyone who’s ever fired up the grill or turned on the heater, running out of propane at the wrong moment is a frustration as old as time. Yet, despite its universality, no one had truly solved it—until Sleegers Engineering, a family-owned Ontario company, saw an opportunity to rethink the experience. My Propane Buddy was born from a simple truth: time is the world’s most precious non-renewable resource. The brand represents a generational shift in how the family business approaches innovation, blending practicality with modern convenience.

The brand identity draws deeply from blue-collar heritage and classic Americana. Script lettering pays homage to vintage service station signage, while the typography, colour palette, and imagery blend nostalgia with contemporary appeal. The system is designed to flex across audiences, balancing reliability, quality, and personality.
